Built-in solutions for the Eaton MCCB series G

As a part of the Tabula product program for Eaton components there is a wide product range available for fixed build-in solutions of the Eaton MCCB series G, from 160 A through 630 A. The range consists of mounting plates, busbar connection system as well as terminals.

The product range varies from a 1M high built-in for a MCCB frame GE, 160 A through a 3M high built-in for a MCCB frame GL, 630 A. Built-ins for frame GE and GJ are available both as a 3M and a 4M width. The insertions may be designed in 3 pol, 3 pol with a zero separator, 3 pol with a fixed zero, or 4 pol versions.

The base plate is dimensioned in such way that no matter which of the four designs is applied, the same base plate can be used.

The below type test has been conducted at the modules for Eaton MCCB:

• Verification of temperature rise limits, IEC / EN 60439-1: 1999 clause 8.2.1
• Verification of the dielectric properties, IEC / EN 60439-1: 1999 clause 8.2.2
• Verification of the short-circuit withstand strength, IEC / EN 60439-1: 1999 clause 8.2.3
• Verification of the effectiveness of the protective circuit, IEC / EN 60439-1: 1999 clause 8.2.4.1
• Verification of the clearances and creepage distances, IEC / EN 60439-1: 1999 clause 8.2.5
• Verification of the mechanical operation, IEC / EN 60439-1: 1999 clause 8.2.6
• Verification of the degree of protection, IEC / EN 60439-1: 1999 clause 8.2.7
